Virtuoso Superstars Of Classical Music
Phillip Malamud, music historian, will present a three-part program featuring three generationals of great performers on Thursdays at 2 pm on March 4, April 1 and May 6, the youngest generation
, the middle generation and the senior generation. The March 4 program features great performers under thirty which include Lang Lang, Hilary Hahn, Julia Fischer and others; April 1, the middle generation which include Repin, Bronfman, Zimmerman and others and May 6, the senior generation featuring artists in their sixties and beyond which include Argerich, Barenboim, and others.

Pianist Amber Yiu-Hsuan Liao
On Sunday, March 28, 2:30 pm, the artist chosen by the Library Music Advisory Committee is pianist Amber Yiu-Hsuan Liao. She is the recipient of many prestigious awards and has performed as soloist and chamber musician throughout the New York area and environs. Ms. Liao has been featured at music festivals in New York, Spain, Austria, France and Taiwan. In addition she has a busy teaching schedule. Ms. Liao holds a B.A. from National Taiwan Normal University, M.M. from Peabody Conservatory and Doctor of Musical Arts from Manhattan School of Music.
